Caring Transitions of Charlottesville is celebrating the holidays by donating coats to local organizations. It’s all a part of our CT Caring for a Cause initiative! This week, our own Sonya Chung-Hirano went to the Shelter for Help in Emergency (SHE), a domestic violence shelter in Charlottesville. She dropped off coats to Rachael Silver, a Volunteer Coordinator for SHE. Learn more about SHE here: www.shelterforhelpinemergency.org
Then, Sonya went on to the Student Center of Piedmont Virginia Community College (PVCC) to drop even more coats off. The students were great at helping us with the load! The PVCC staff that helped us out are Shawn Anderson, Gigi Davis and Ashwin Pitt. We appreciate them!
